Description
  • Aqua culture industry is an increasingly important industry in many regions of India. Both shrimp and
fish are very sensitive to small fluctuations in the concentrations of ammonia, oxygen and hydrogen
sulphide. The un-ionized from of ammonia ( ammonia gas) is produced as an excretory product of
both shrimp and fish, and as well as from the bacterial decomposition of uneaten food and fecal
material. Ammonia is extremely toxic and lower concentration levels of ammonia can have
adverse effects on the shrimp and fish tissues, especially the gills
Zeolite (Geosol) filter system can be used mechanically to remove food waters and fecal matter. It also
removes the ammonia and become a host for aerobic bacteria that consumes ammonia. Zeolite
(Geosol) actively removes the ammonia from the water by a process called Ion-exchange
Geosol has strong negative magnetic charge and honeycomb like structure. All positively charged
toxins and harmful substances bond with the Zeolite. This process is called Ion-exchange.
Chemical composition and structure of Geosol provides higher Cationic exchange capacity.
